-The Blissfield Veterinary Service has a 24 hour prescription fill policy. Please give our staff 24 hours to appropriately fill your pets medications in order to maintain prescription dispensing accuracy. *Stat Medication Requests will have a $5.50 charge at check out*
-Our facility requires all patients (unless patient has a confirmed medical exemption) be kept up to date on the Rabies Vaccine, per the State of Michigan's Public Health Code (Legal Requirement) and AVMA guidelines. These measures are taken to prevent the spread of rabies to humans and other animals. *Our facility does carry Thimerosal Free Rabies Vaccines*

Things to keep in mind for your next visit
At checkout we do accept Care Credit, Cash, Check, and Credit/Debit Cards (A 3.5% service fee is applied to any credit/debit card transactions This does not apply to Care Credit)
Prescriptions are currently being filled in Clinic, on our Online Pharmacy (Covetrus Pharmacy), or with a paper script from the clinic (Paper Prescriptions must be picked up in person) that you can send to a pharmacy of your choice.

LENAWEE COUNTY, Mich.- A bat found in Adrian has tested positive for rabies, according to the Lenawee County Health Department (LCHD) on Monday.
Pets can be protected from rabies through vaccinations. Dogs, cats and ferrets can be vaccinated by a veterinarian, and pets should be kept away from wild animals whenever possible.
